More Tops Completed! from Kat & Cat Quilts

Happy weekend, quilters! I hope you're all well.  I have some team quilts to show this week. Amy sent in two tops and long-armer Wendy completed them for us.

Thanks to both of these ladies. These are really large quilts and will be a great gift to the families that Covered in Love benefits. I really like the colors in both of Amy's tops.

Next, two quilt tops sent in by Kathy B. and quilted by Ray in Florida. Ray does an excellent job with his quilting, I'd highly recommend him if you're looking for a ...

So Tired from Kat & Cat Quilts

This great big top is a beautiful, clever mix of pieced blocks and panels by Marianne, long arm quilted by Wendy.  So cheerful!

Happy Friday everyone, I hope you're all well.  To be honest I'm struggling. I'm just wrapping up two weeks of work at the hospital and will have some time off. We're neck deep in another Covid surge here in Texas and it all seems to pointless, knowing that we have safe and effective vaccines that have been available for EIGHT MONTHS.

Johanna and the Longarmers from Kat & Cat Quilts

We got some BIG quilts back recently that had been sent out to longarmers.  These tops were all made by Johanna and Tammy quilted this one.

This great big top was quilted by Ray in Florida. I love how I can always identify Johanna's tops by the colors and fabrics.

This slightly more tame to was also quilted by Tammy. Thanks guys!

We've had a little bit of cat drama around here. Fluffy (who I used to call Rey, but honestly we've only ever called her Fluffy)  went missing for a couple days and came back with ...

Cozy Sampler Quilts from Kat & Cat Quilts

Happy Fall, y'all! My windows are open and the cool, fresh breeze is blowing through.  As I finish quilts I have been throwing them over the couch and the kitties and I get some serious quality testing done while I drink my coffee in the mornings.

These quilts were not made by me, both were pieced by Jan at The Colorful Fabriciholic and quilted by Ray on his longarm in Florida.  Jan made this top from Pat Sloan's Solstice Challenge and Ray quilted it with a playful swooping dragonfly motif.

Jan said this blue and green sampler was ...

Quilters to the Rescue from Kat & Cat Quilts

I had several new quilters offer to help with Covered in Love after I asked for help in May, like Beryl who I mentioned last week. This week features another new friend and a couple of old ones!

Ray from Florida offered to do some long-arming for CiL and quickly returned these two tops I sent him.

This top was sent in by Michele (you can see more of her work here) and quilted up with a pretty Baptist Fan design.

In total contrast to Michele's soft pastel quilt, this bold and bright floral top was made by Nancy ...
